This is what will tell your customer what to do next, whether you want them to buy a product, sign up for a service, or download an ebook!

Bonus Tip- AIDA & PAS for Website copy or Ad copy

AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action.

PAS stands for Problem, Agitate, Solution.

Both are models that can be used to structure your copy and works in any industry!

AIDA is a classic model used by copywriters for decades, while PAS is a newer model that’s gaining popularity because it’s more effective at generating a piece of actionable copy.

Here’s a quick overview of each model:


– Attention: Get the reader’s attention with a headline or opening statement.

– Interest: Keep the reader interested by providing relevant information about your product or service.

– Desire: Create desire for your product or service by highlighting its benefits.

– Action: Tell the reader what to do next (e.g., buy now, sign up, Shop Now, etc.).


– Problem: State the problem that your products or services solve.

– Agitate: Make the reader feel the pain of the problem.

You can use either model when writing copy for your small business. I prefer PAS because it’s more effective at getting people to take action, but try both (a/b split test) and see which one works better for you.
